About Working Groups
The work in the NVF takes place in the working groups. In the NVF working groups the members share and develop knowledge and best practices in the road and transport sector. The working groups work within a common framework and roles.
Working groups consist of a chairperson, vice-chairperson, members, and corresponding members. The work is led by the chairperson and the vice-chairperson, and members participate actively in the work.
Corresponding members do not attend the meetings but participate actively by responding to consultations and the like. You can find more information about the rules and responsibilities below.
The working groups are diverse and consist of experts across the public and private sectors. The working groups’ operation is based on a action plan that the groups prepare at the beginning of the period. In addition, the NVF Board may give specific assignments to the working groups.

English is the main language of the NVF. All Nordic events and documents must be in English, including the content on the NVF’s website. However, the working groups may choose to use Scandinavian if all participants can participate in the communication.
The language policy was adopted by the Association Board on 12th of March 2024.
