About the working group
The working group will exchange knowledge of more efficient, climate-smart, safe, and economically sustainable road freight transport.
The working group will focus on specific themes, including energy-efficient haulage on roads, combined transport, road infrastructure to node hubs, benefits of automation and digitalization and how to promote safety on roads, vehicles, and drivers.

The working group has been set up for the period July 2024 – June 2028. Denmark is the leading country of the working group during that period.
Climate and Environment is the overarching theme for all the working groups during the period 2024–2028.
Relevant UN Global Goals:
The group will make proposals for the follow-up on the sustainable development goals in autumn 2024.
