Injured and killed in road traffic accidents in the Nordic countries for 2009-2020

The Nordic countries are among the best performing countries in Europe and therefore in the world when it comes to fatalities in traffic per capita.

NVF’s working group on Traffic Safety has made a summary of injured and killed in road traffic accidents in Denmark, the Faroe Islands, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden for 2009-2020. The summary will be updated yearly.

The Nordic countries have seen a steady decline in fatalities over the last ten (10) years although the numbers in Iceland and the Faroe Islands are too low to give an indication of the trend.
