The Nordic Statutes set the overall common framework for all the work in the NVF. They state how the organization of the NVF should be, how often the NVF Board should meet and which tasks they should carry out during the period, among other things.

The Nordic Statutes apply to national associations in Denmark, the Faroe Islands, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden. The statutes describe the areas in which the national associations set their own rules.

Each national association creates its own statutes for the work of the national association. The national statutes must follow the Nordic Statutes. The statutes set out the rules for membership, management, and finances, among other things.

The national statutes can be found on the pages of each country.
