Thank you for 2 inspiring days at the Via Nordica 2024 and maybe an extra day for one of the Special Technical Tours to the New Storstrøm Bridge or the Fehmarnbelt Tunnel construction site.
We hope that you experienced a conference with interesting panel discussions, presentations and knowledge sharing about new technologies and technical know-how within development of the road and transport sector and industry. And also had a good few hours on one of the technical tours on Day 1.
Alongside the technical programme and the technical tours, Via Nordica had the pleasure of hosting many students from the Nordic countries. The students had the opportunity to present a wide range of interesting projects in their poster sessions. In exchange, we had the chance to show what we believe the requirements are for participating in developing the future road transport.
The closing session about megaprojects and their responsibility to society gave an insight into how megaprojects can have a value-added integration with local society.
Finally, Jens Holmboe, Chair of the Nordic Road Association and Director General, Danish Road Directorate handed over the chairmanship to Finland for the next 4-year period.
