Just before easter, the NVF Bridge Group selection committee met and selected the candidates for the Nordic Bridge Prize 2024. Each Nordic country had nominated two candidates resulting in a total of 10 projects across the Nordic countries. The winner will be awarded at the Via Nordica 2024 Congress in Copenhagen. As some may be aware, the Via Nordica 2020 Congress in Malmö had to be cancelled due to the corona-epidemic, which is why we’ll also be handing out the Nordic Bridge Prize 2020 at this year’s congress.
The 2024 prize is conferred to a completed new bridge or a bridge renovation project, which is situated within the Nordic countries and is not more than eight years old at the day the prize is presented.
