About the working group
The purpose of the group is to exchange experiences on road tunnels. The group aims to share knowledge about tunnel safety, tunnel technologies, new materials, and innovative methods.
The working group will focus on specific themes, including tunnel technologies, co-operation from installation to maintenance, innovation and renewal of methods and materials in tunnel construction and maintenance and safety in tunnels.

The working group has been set up for the period July 2024 – June 2028. Iceland is the leading country of the working group during that period.
Climate and Environment is the overarching theme for all the working groups during the period 2024–2028.
