3–4 September in Copenhagen, the first in-person meeting of the Road Traffic Safety working group for the 2024–2028 period was held at the Danish Road Directorate. Nearly 50 participants from different countries and sectors came together to share research, exchange experiences, and see Copenhagen’s well-known cycling solutions in practice.

🔹 Aalborg university hospital accident data project, a tool for traffic safety work, presented by Tim Lindskou, Aalborg University Hospital
The Copenhagen meeting showed how research, policy and practical measures can be combined to improve road safety.
Through its working groups, NVF provides a platform where specialists from both the public and private sectors share and develop knowledge and best practices within the road and transport sector. This collaboration strengthens Nordic goals to create safer mobility, and NVF looks forward to continuing this work in the years ahead.
