The third Leap to Zero (L2Z) and NVF Nordic Construction Market Conference will be held on 21–23 October 2025 in Fredrikstad, Norway. The conference brings together experts, public sector actors, industry representatives and researchers from across the Nordic countries to address the transition towards zero-emission construction sites.
The theme of the 2025 conference is Accelerating the Transition to Zero Emission Construction Sites. The programme focuses on practical solutions, procurement strategies and the role of new technologies in achieving climate goals in the construction sector.
Programme Highlights
Tuesday 21 October, starts at 13:00
The conference opens with an official welcome hosted by NVF, followed by a site visit to a zero-emission construction site in the Fredrikstad area. The visit offers a first-hand look at innovative practices already in use on Nordic building sites.
Wednesday 22 October, full day
The day begins with NVF sessions focusing on how sustainability can be embedded into contracts and procurement processes. In the afternoon, NVF and Leap to Zero join forces in collaborative sessions exploring:

Thursday 23 October, ends at 16:00
The final day is led by the Leap to Zero network. Sessions include knowledge sharing, future planning and the announcement of the next host organisation. The conference concludes with a second site visit in the afternoon, offering further opportunities for real-world insight.
