Co-operation with BRA

Nordic Road Association (NVF) and the Baltic Road Association (BRA) have been co-operating since 1992. The co-operation agreement was made in 1992 and revised in 2001.

In the recent years the co-operation has become more ad hoc based. The parties have agreed to continue the co-operation this way, where the parties work together when concrete need arises.

In addition, the parties invite each other to seminars, if they are applicable and organized in English.

The NVF and the BRA Boards do not have regular meetings, but the secretaries meet once a year in connection with an NVF secretaries’ meeting.

Co-operation with PIARC

Nordic Road Association (NVF) and World Road Association (PIARC) have a long tradition of co-operation. The purpose of the collaboration is to promote knowledge sharing and knowledge development.

The NVF coordinates proposals for the Nordic leaders and secretaries in PIARC’s technical committees and the Nordic members in PIARC’s commissions. Members of the technical committees are nominated by each country.
