Styrelsen för Nordiskt vägforum har beslutat att ställa in kongressen Via Nordica. Kongressen var planerad till Malmö 10-12 juni 2020.

Vi beklagar beslutet och de olägenheter det medför. Beslutet hör samman med arbetet att begränsa spridningen av coronaviruset. Nedan finns det brev som Lena Erixon, förbundsordförande för NVF idag skickat till alla medlemmar:

”Dear all,

The Via Nordica was due to be held in Malmö, 10-12 June 2020. However the Swedish government decided 11/3 that no meetings with more than 500 participants will be allowed as a proactive measure to tackle the coronavirus. We also know that in other Nordic countries, like Denmark and Norway, there has been similar decisions. Therefore the NVF board reached the conclusion at its board meeting the 12/3 that we have to cancel the event.

At NVF, we have an obligation to our community to meet the quality and expectations associated with our brand and to protect the safety of all of our members. This decision was made after careful consultation with the members of the NVF board.

We are of course very sorry about this and that NVF Sweden will not be able to welcome you to Malmö and the Via Nordica Congress 2020.
